Evgeny Korobov, former advertising business director at Beeline, has joined IT holding T1. He took the position of Commercial Director for Large and Medium Business, market sources told AdIndex. T1's press service confirmed the move but did not specify the top manager's title.

Korobov worked at VimpelCom structures for about 24 years — from 2002 to March 2026. He began his career at the company as B2B Sales Director of a branch. In 2009, he headed Beeline's B2B sales in the Northwestern region. In 2016, he moved to the operator's headquarters as Director of Key Account Development for the corporate business.

From 2019 to 2023, Korobov was responsible for developing new B2B business areas at Beeline not related to traditional telecom services. His remit included cloud services and cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, IoT, Big Data, AdTech, MarTech, and artificial intelligence technologies. In November 2023, he headed the "beeline adtech" division.

The move was a consequence of the restructuring of the operator's advertising business. In 2025, Beeline began reorganizing it: in the fall, the company spun off AdTech into a standalone business vertical. It was headed by Nikita Fominov, who previously led AdTech at MTS. Following these changes, Korobov focused on implementing strategic initiatives, developing the business unit management system, and building synergy between the areas of "beeline adtech."

Beeline itself remains one of the country's largest advertisers. The company ranks 17th in the AdIndex ranking of Russia's largest advertisers. The operator's total spending on advertising placement in major media — TV, the internet, outdoor advertising, radio, and press — amounted to 6.1 billion rubles in 2025. The budget estimates are based on data from measurement companies Mediascope, Admetrix, and Digital Budget.

Korobov's move strengthens T1's commercial division — the IT holding gains a leader with many years of experience selling complex technological solutions to large corporate clients.
