Sber Launches Free Studio for Building AI Agents Without Code
Sber has opened the free GigaPlatform AI Studio: build AI agents without code, with access to GigaChat 3.5 Reasoning and a Deep Research mode. The path from idea to solution takes one evening.
Sber has launched the free GigaPlatform AI Studio: now an individual user can build their own AI agent without programming. The company announced this in a conversation with AdIndex.
The studio is designed for individual users and is suitable both for personal tasks and for work. The service covers several scenarios at once: an assistant answers questions based on uploaded documents, transcribes lecture recordings, voices text, and helps make sense of complex topics.
Which models are available
AI Studio offers all current versions of Sber's AI models, including GigaChat 3.5 Reasoning. Users can compare models with each other and choose the one that fits their task.
"In GigaPlatform AI Studio, a person can try out different models themselves, assemble their own assistant from ready-made blocks, and immediately test it in action," emphasized Anton Frolov, Senior Vice President and Head of the Generative AI Development Block at Sberbank.
According to him, the assembly is done from ready-made blocks: there is no need to write code — the agent is built with a constructor and tested right in the interface.
What this changes for users
Sber's goal is to radically lower the barrier to entry into AI development. Frolov's wording sets a concrete time benchmark: the path from idea to a working solution should take one evening.
"We want AI to become as familiar a tool as a text editor or spreadsheets," the top manager added.
In other words, Sber positions the studio not as a developers' tool but as a mass-market product — similar to office applications that any employee knows how to use.
For analytical tasks, the platform includes a Deep Research mode. It studies open sources, compares data, and compiles a structured report with links. This covers a typical work task — a quick overview of a topic with verifiable sources.
Launch context
It was previously reported that Sberbank quadrupled the volume of advertising for its GigaChat assistant on Russian television. The launch of a free studio for a mass audience logically complements this strategy: Sber is expanding the GigaChat user funnel and getting people accustomed to its ecosystem of tools built on top of it.
For businesses and individual professionals, the conclusion is simple: a free way has emerged to test AI agents on current Russian models — with no development budget and in a single evening.
