White House Launches Round-the-Clock Trump TV After Major US TV Networks' Boycott
The White House has launched round-the-clock Trump TV on YouTube after a boycott by CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox News. The first video was Trump's speech at Mount Rushmore on July 3, 2026.

The White House has launched a round-the-clock Trump TV broadcast after the largest American television networks suspended coverage of presidential events. The channel began operating on YouTube. This was reported by Variety.
The first video on Trump TV was Donald Trump's speech at Mount Rushmore on July 3, 2026. The channel's programming schedule includes reruns of the president's speeches and live broadcasts of events featuring administration officials.
"Watch the most important moments of the Trump administration all in one place," reads the description of the White House's YouTube channel, which hosts a link to Trump TV.
The conflict over press access to the president escalated just days before the channel's launch. Trump barred the CNN and MS NOW television channels and the Politico outlet from covering events at the White House. These media outlets sued the president, arguing that the ban violates their rights.
In response, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News and Fox News — which, together with CNN, provide television coverage of White House events — announced they were suspending coverage of presidential events. It was against the backdrop of this boycott that the administration launched its own channel.
Criticism followed immediately. "First Trump banned independent media from the White House. Now he is launching what is literally state television," California Governor Gavin Newsom wrote on social media.
For the media market, the story also has a media-commercial dimension. It was previously reported that CNN International Commercial will launch an AI-based media trading infrastructure in 2027 to change the way digital advertising is traded.
