On September 27, during an attack by Russian drones, the building of the headquarters of the Kyivstar operator in Kyiv was damaged. Suspilne reported this, citing the company's press service.

"All employees are safe. The company is assessing the consequences of the attack and coordinating the necessary further actions," the press service said in a statement.

The strike on Kyivstar's headquarters is a continuation of a series of attacks on Ukraine's telecom infrastructure. On September 17, in the Kyiv region, the Russian side hit a building housing Kyivstar equipment — there were no casualties at that time.

On September 23, as a result of a Russian attack, one of Kyiv's data centers was damaged, which hosted core equipment of the internet provider UTELS. The attack also caused problems in the operation of the cloud service Fex.net.

On September 24, following an attack on Kyiv, the providers Domonet, Kievnet and Faust reported damage to infrastructure and internet outages. On the same day, Russia destroyed a data center hosting the capacities of hosting provider MiroHost. The company cannot yet name a timeframe for restoring its operation.

On September 25, as a result of a Russian attack, a data center of the company Datagroup was damaged.

The consequences of the strikes also affected the media sector. The TV channel Novyny.LIVE temporarily suspended broadcasting due to disruptions in the operation of some services following a Russian attack on the capital's infrastructure. The TV channel Armiya TV ceased operations due to shelling of data centers.

Following a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff, decisions were made to protect data centers and other critically important communications facilities, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
