Litres Compiles Top 10 Best-Selling Books for Marketers
Jonah Berger's bestseller on the psychology of word of mouth topped Litres' ranking of book sales for marketers from January 1 to September 10, 2026. Mann, Kotler, and Godin are also in the top 10.

A book by American professor Jonah Berger, "Contagious: Why Things Catch On" ("The Psychology of Word of Mouth. How to Make Products and Ideas Popular"), became the best-selling marketing book in Russia from January 1 to September 10, 2026. The press service of the Litres service reported this to AdIndex based on the results of its own research.
The service evaluated sales by total revenue across all formats — audio and text. Second and third place in the ranking went to Igor Mann's "Marketing Without a Budget. 50 Working Tools" and the joint work by V. V. Davydov and M. V. Fedorov, "Digital Marketing. The Internet Marketer's Essential Book."
The top 10 popular books for marketers looks as follows:
- Jonah Berger — "The Psychology of Word of Mouth. How to Make Products and Ideas Popular";
- Igor Mann — "Marketing Without a Budget. 50 Working Tools";
- V. V. Davydov, M. V. Fedorov — "Digital Marketing. The Internet Marketer's Essential Book";
- Kim Sungho — "Unique! Uniqlo. How a Small Japanese Tailor Shop Became One of the Largest Sellers of Casual Clothing";

The composition of the ranking reflects the structure of reader demand among marketing specialists in Russia. Works on consumer behavior and the viral spread of ideas lead the list. They are followed by practical guides on promotion without a budget and digital tools.
A noticeable portion of the list consists of translated studies by foreign authors. Roger Dooley's book is devoted to neuromarketing — influencing the consumer's subconscious. Phil Barden's work "Hacking Marketing" examines scientific explanations of buying behavior. In "StoryBrand 2.0 Method," Donald Miller describes an approach to storytelling in brand communications.
Kim Sungho's case study on the history of Uniqlo is about how a small Japanese tailor shop grew into one of the world's largest sellers of casual clothing. Josh Kaufman offers a program of independent business education in his book "The Personal MBA." In "Marketing 6.0," Philip Kotler and Hermawan Kartajaya consider immersive technologies and the merger of digital and physical worlds as a key direction for the industry's development.
Seth Godin's work "This Is Marketing" is aimed at specialists who strive to come to the forefront of the profession. There is only one Russian author in the top of the ranking — Igor Mann with a book about 50 working tools for marketing without a budget.
Earlier, AdIndex published a selection of literature for beginning marketers from Avito.
