RBC in Talks to Buy Out 100% of Ad Platform Hyper AdTech
RBC has owned 60% of Hyper AdTech since December 2024 and is in talks to buy out the remaining stake from founder Armen Gulinyan. The video advertising segment grew 29% — to 24.8 billion rubles.

RBC Group of Companies is negotiating the full acquisition of the advertising platform Hyper AdTech from its founder Armen Gulinyan. This was reported by Kommersant, citing data from SPARK.
The holding currently owns a 60% stake in the project. RBC acquired the stake in December 2024 — the deal was carried out through the purchase of shares in OOO Hyper, the legal entity of Hyper AdTech. The amount has not been disclosed. No public price is being discussed in the current negotiations either.
Company founder Armen Gulinyan described the logic of the partnership as follows: Hyper was to work together with RBC on developing projects in the field of video advertising. This confirms the holding's interest in one of the fastest-growing segments of the digital market.
The figures confirm the choice of direction. According to analysts at the Association for the Development of Interactive Advertising (ARIR), the video advertising segment grew 29% over the year and reached 24.8 billion rubles.
Advertisers' interest in video formats remains steady. A survey at the beginning of the year showed that more than half of marketers (63%) plan to increase investments in placements on digital platforms. The same share of respondents — 63% — pointed to growing investment in CTV advertising, that is, advertising on connected TV.
Full consolidation of Hyper AdTech will allow RBC to strengthen its own technological competencies in video advertising and CTV. For the company's founder, the deal will be an opportunity to lock in the project's valuation amid the segment's growth.
