Alexey Arefiev Heads Technology and Products at Wink
Alexey Arefiev has become Chief Technology and Product Officer at Wink. He joined from ON Media and previously worked at more.tv and Kion. Oleg Nikitin will focus on AI.

Alexey Arefiev has been appointed Chief Technology and Product Officer of the Wink online cinema. The service's press office confirmed information previously obtained from market sources.
In his new role, Arefiev is responsible for the product development of the online cinema and the growth of key user satisfaction metrics. Previously, these functions were performed by Director of Technology Development Oleg Nikitin.
Nikitin is not leaving the company. He will now focus on launching artificial intelligence initiatives and new technological development for Wink. His responsibilities also include the development of technology products and the creation of technological synergies for Rostelecom Group.
Career Path
Arefiev graduated from the State University of Management with a degree in energy management. He began his career at the Komsomolskaya Pravda publishing house, where he rose to deputy marketing director for three projects — Express Gazeta, Teleprogramma, and Sovetsky Sport. He then worked in digital marketing at the European Media Group. Later, he headed the digital division of the Moskva TV channel.
In 2017, Arefiev joined T2 (then Tele2) as product owner of the Bolsh loyalty program. The next step was the position of CPO at Stoloto, where he and his team built product culture and processes from scratch.
From 2021, the top manager worked as Product Director at the more.tv online cinema. After the service merged with Wink, he moved to Kion as Director of Product and Technology Development. His last position before returning to Wink was at the ON Media holding, where Arefiev served as Director of Technology and Product Portfolio.
The appointment strengthens Wink's product vertical amid the integration of Rostelecom Group's video services. Arefiev is already familiar with the ecosystem: he went from more.tv through Kion to ON Media and is now combining this experience within a single team.
